Ladybug Birthday Cake.

This is a ladybug birthday cake I made for a friends daughter she turned one. I had so much fun making this cake!!! The ladybug I made with the wilton sportsball pan...only half..then made her head using a cupcake and covered her head in fondant. She is sitting on a flower that is the wilton flower pan. The little ladybugs are fondant and the so are the flowers.

K105 Swap-Celestial Cards

These are my cards for the K105 Swap of KopperheadsPaperArtSwap. We were asked to make anything that is considered celestial...so I thought of clouds and heaven....I found the coolest quote to use for the inside by Christopher Morley "Heavy hearts, like heavy clouds in the sky, are best relieved by the letting of a little water."
The clouds are out of glitter paper and I added some stickles as rain drops.

I hope the ladies in the swap enjoy them.

Snowflake Card

I love snowflakes!!! So, I made a snowflake card...I don't know if you can tell...but the snowflake is embossed in silver. I loved how it turned out. Also, I included one of these in StampingInga's paint can...I hope she likes it.

Toilet Paper Mini Album.

Yes, this album is made out of toilet paper rolls that I flattened and created pockets for tags to be put on the inside. Who would have thought to make mini albums out of used toilet paper rolls....hmmmm.....I wonder what else we could use?

Stair Step Card.

This is my very first stair step card. I made it for StampingInga for the GIBBS paint can swap on Cricut.com. This is one of the many things we had to create for the swap....and I had a ton of fun making it. I thought it would have been harder than it was...I watched a youtube video to learn how to make it.

Christian Paint Can Swap

I altered this paint can for BlackDiamond on Cricut.com. I loved putting it together for her. We had to stuff it with items and at least 5 Christian bookmarks.

Masculine Cards

Here are my masculine cards for a swap that JeanP is hostessing on Cricut MB. I loved making these....we all could use some more manly cards in our stashes.

Koppers Tags plus Inchies

Kopperhead gave us a couple of themes....Lucky Seven and Never Say Never for our last tags plus inchies swap. So, here is what I came up with. I had so much fun making these and can't wait to see what others came up with for their tags.

Reading.

I just finished an excellent book by Erwin Mcmanus called "The Barbarian Faith". Wow!!! what a great book. It is all about having a faith like John the Baptist and Paul who knew they were going to die, but decided to keep on with their faith in the midst of impossible situations. It also calls us to not accept complacency, mediocrity and religousity as the norm. To understand that Jesus didn't come to die so we can sit on the sidelines and just live by rules and regulations...He came so we could be part of something as making sure all people hear that Jesus is Lord and the freedom that comes with that. I hope to live out the rest of my life with a Barbarian faith and I can make the heart of my King beat strongly for it. I hope to have a rhino kind of faith...you will have to read the book to figure that one out.

Here are some card fronts I did for a swap that Wamfamily is hosting on Cricut MB. I enjoyed putting these together. I hope those ladies in the swap can use them. I have only been doing cards since January...so my experience is still growing.

Here is a twinchie I made for a swap hosted by Stephaniee on Cricut MB. I have never used this fiber ribbon and I found a new love.

Flower Pot Card

This is my very first flower pot card and it is for Munkee's swap on Cricut MB. I had a ton of fun making this card. I see a ton of these cards in my future. I used Plantin Schoolbook and Accent Essentials on the flowers and hand cut the pot base.

More productive.

Hello everyone. My sister just left with my 2 neices and my nephew that have been here the last 2 weeks...my house is so quiet right now....awe...LOL. I had a lovely visit with them and we had a ton of laughs, but now it is to get back to being productive on my creations and swaps. I feel so far behind..:-(

I have had a ton of stress lately, my AC went out, my dd who is engaged is having issues with relationship, there are rumors of layoffs and dh work, and my health isn't doing too well....I wonder why???? I know that God has me in the palm of His hand and He will uphold me...I cry out to you Jesus...give me some rest in my soul.

Now, off my pity pot and back to work. Love to all!

My Rolodex Cards

This is for Munkee's Rolodex Swap-I had December and the letter "T". I really enjoyed making them...it was my first time....I looked everywhere for a rolodex puncher and couldn't find one so I used my heart punch and it seemed to work ok.
